I've just read your speech, and it is so inspiring to say the least. I too, was diagnosed with MRKH, two years prior. MRKH to me is somewhat a dark secret. Since I live in a country where MRKH is little known, not even my first doctor knew what was 'wrong' with me. I am currently deciding whether I should do the surgery, or not, as by taking it would take at least a year off me, and it is scaring the hell out of me. I felt pressured by my mother because apparently without a vagina, you cannot live a normal life. To be honest, a part of me wants to be the so called social norm called 'normal'. I sometimes wonder why I had to be the one with MRKH condition, and not the next person besides me. I guess I still have a long road ahead of me. Your blog truly is inspiring, and I believe that it is giving many of us with Intersex conditions strength, and hope. Thank you.
